Hello everyone! Thanks for support!

I really don't want to re-seal it, the packet could stuck in the embassy or delivery service might carry packet unaccurate again and it will be teared again.

I haven't find even a one topic about someone getting denied at POE because if this.

If someone will find please, post here or in my private messages.

I am going to fly next week too.

Hello! I just received my visa package everything is fine besides yellow envelope it is little ripped :( not the way they used to do like cut in the corner.

There are two things you can do.

1. As this happens A LOT, and is not a terrible thing that should be worried about. Having said that (see #2 below), it's up to you but you can call the Embassy and they'll arrange with you that it will be shipped back to them through 2GO.

You will most likely be instructed to include the passport with the envelope. It will also require a letter of explanation. You will ship it back to the embassy, supposedly without any charge. The embassy will only take about 1 day to turn it around and send it back again by 2GO. So, shipping time x2, plus one business day, is the total time involved.

2. If the package is not damaged in a way that you can get more than two fingers or a hand in the brown envelope then you will be fine passing through your POE. The Agents at the POE have experience and they know when a package has been compromised and when it is "normal" wear and tear. A tear or cut less then 2cm will not prevent you from traveling through with no problems at your POE.

Best thing to do for your situation is to call the Embassy, be sure to have a measurement of the size of the tear, and ask what they would want you to do. This is not the normal cut corner so I would call the Embassy. If you have time before flying out from the Philippines, the US embassy Manila will require you to give the package back to 2GO to send back to Manila, then wait for its return. Turn around is about 5 - 10 business days. However, if you already have your ticket to the US and will be leaving soon and don't have the kind of time to wait for their normal turn around, they will tell you that you should come to the embassy anytime Monday thru Thursday, between 10:00 AM and 12 noon to Window 38, and bring a copy of your flight confirmation, and then they will reseal (or replace?) the envelope as you wait.

Yes, I am.

I contacted embassy they said I may send them but they don't know when they will send me new one. And I don't know if delivery service (pony express) will carry that accurately, I am afraid to get worse envelope.
