Waiver Case Pending; Extend K-1? [split topic]

Hi :

I am USA citizen I field k1 visa December 2014for my fiancé , we receive letter from NVC 3/9/15.

he had interview on 4/23/15 at Ciudad Juarez Mexico consulate . Visa did not approved but we qualified I-601 waiver so we applied waiver .USCIS received it on September 29 2016. Now our waiver case still pending

My question is my k1 visa has expire date ?should I request extend my k1? Where should I email to ?

They should automoatically extend it. I emailed our embassy to notify them the date we filed the waiver and requested an extension. I don't know if that's necessary but it made me feel better.

PS. I think you mean your waiver was received September 2015
