Stated The Process for A K-1 Fiancé Visa

Hello All. I filled my for my fiancé coming from Jamaica. He lives in Jamaica and I'm hoping to get him here soon. We've been dating for awhile while he was separated and waiting to get his divorce. That was finally final so I've filed for the K-1Visa. Just want to know if we can get anything together for when he has to go into the embassy in Jamaica. I've gotten the NOA1 and was wondering how long it may take for the NOA2. I just pray everything will go smoothly and quickly. Any advice or preparation instructions would be greatly appreciated. If you correct your timeline (your file was sent directly to CSC, not transferred from TSC - TSC don't take K1 petitions any longer. The lockbox in Texas you sent the petition to is not the same as TSC) - you will get a nice estimate of when (approximately) you should expect your NOA2.

The process currently takes around 6 months. You can certainly start getting things together such as police certs, and more evidence of a bonafide relationship.

California service center processes rather quickly so expect to be approved in 3-6 months. Afterward, it goes quickly.
