I need a SAMPLE LETTER of explaining why i didn't file taxes

i Need a little help. i have never been employed so i need to explain in i-864 why i didn't file taxes . i lived with my parents i am dependent on my brother income . can any one help me how to write a Letter .....

We just wrote "I certify under penalty of perjury that I have not been required to file taxes in the United States in the last three years due to XYZ". Then sign and date the letter. Don't need more than that

You want to keep it very simple and short. My husband's situation was a little different, but here is what he wrote:

To whom it may concern,

I am Penguin_ie's husband and petitioning sponsor. During my three years in Ireland I did not work; I used savings and was maintained by my wife on her salary. Thus, I had no income or significant holdings in the USA was not required to file US tax returns with the InternalRevenue Services.

Signed (original signature)

So in your case, something like:

To whom it may concern,

I am (spouses name) spouse and petitioning sponsor. I have never been employed, and thus never had an income; my brother, (brother's name) supports me financially. Thus, I had no income or significant holdings in the USA was not required to file US tax returns with the InternalRevenue Services.
