Hello all you April Nebraska filers! I hadn't plan to post anything on the site, but figured I can use all the additional support I can get while going through this long journey. This is hubby and my second time going through the visa process. Our K1 visa was denied. We have a priority date of April 13 and like many on this site are praying for a quick and smooth process.

If you look at the immigration timelines on this site, it actually shows Nebraska processing faster than California. The site predicts Nebraska is processing January 6 applications....California only December 21. I've already seen several people from mid January receive their NOA2. I am grateful my petition wasn't sent to Vermont who is still back in October.

Here's the link to check the processing times according to VJ members timelines. (http://www.visajourney.com/content/times).

I hope they process ours quickly too. This journey is definitely not an easy one and not getting updates can makes it difficult.

Thanks for the link. I know this waiting with no info nor updates is the worst!

You're very welcome! It may not be 100% accurate...after all it is the US government we are dealing with. But it does give me hope that this first step of the visa process will go by somewhat quick.

I'm pretty sure that extenuating circumstances played a role in your case being expedited.

Regardless, don't lose hope Nebraska people, they seem to be moving along, possibly even faster than the other service centers.
