So my case got tranferred from Potomac to NBC in MO! What does this mean!?!?!?

Ready to cry - my case was at Potomac since start PD 4/19. Everyone around my number had been approved. Then I got transfered to the National Benefits Center on July 13th, apprently to "speed up" process. Well I just called customer service and was told they are only processing I-130's @ NBC from JANUARY 24TH!! This is insanity! Why did I get singled out! No one else, within thousands of numbers, was transfered. I just don't understand.

04/19/16 PD - NOA1 (Potomac Service Center)

07/13/16 Transferred to National Benefits Center to "speed up" processing

08/06/16 Transferred to Local Field Office (Philadelphia) for Marriage Interview

10/04/16 - Congressional Inquiry

01/05/17 - Ombudsman says will receive Interview letter within 30 Days!

02/01/17 - Marriage Interview

02/02/17 - I-130 Approved!!!  :D

Wow, 63 days. That is fast! Congrats. Seems the TSC is working miracles at times. Seems they've completely caught up with the backlog. The USCIS website shows normal 5 month processing times.

Any news from Nebraska? Priority date April 21.

I don't think Nebraska is working on April cases yet. The good news is I know of a March 21 case that has seen some movement and quite a few mid-to late March cases that have been approved. So hopefully that means we are just a few weeks from getting notice.

We have a 4/22 PD at the Nebraska office. I've seen two after ours get approved and one about 4 cases before us. But, I'm seeing lots of mid to late March get approved. I fully expect all of us to get approvals by end of August.

Those are likely expedite cases or cases for Philippines. The usual processing is at about 4 months from what I read. Remember there are very many yet pending at 5-7 months also.

The best we can hope for is the 4 month. So August is out month.

how do you check that kind of information? checl0524

You can download the USCIS app to check on your case and it also allows you to check up to 100 cases after yours. But, I enter in different numbers from mine and get it to show my differnt batches of case numbers. They are working hard on mid to late March right now.

My case was approved last month. Received email from NVC about a case number on Thursday. Sent email to request a transfer of my approved petition to NBC for I-485 which has been scheduled for interview. I still haven't received any response from them. Should I wait or should I go for info pass?

4/15/2016 : Mailed I-130

4/21/2016 : Received text and email from USCIS assigned Receipt Number [Day 1 I-130]

4/25/2016 : Received NOA I-797C Priority Date : April 18, 2016 [Day 5 I-130]

5/6/2016 : Visit Doctor for TB Test, X-Ray, Blood Works & Fill in I-693

5/9/2016 : Visit Doctor again to check result, X-Ray & Blood work all passed but reacted to TB Skin Test (Doctor said it is normal as many ppl had BCG before...not sure why.) :huh2:

5/10/2016 : Doctor sent form to TB Clinic for TB Clearance :clock::clock::clock:

5/18/2016 : Still no words from Doctor, decided to send I-485 to Chicago Lockbox first

5/19/2016 : I-485 package picked up and sent [Day 29 I-130]

5/24/2016 : I-485 package delivered and received by USCIS [Day 34 I-130] [Day 1 I-485]

5/27/2016 : Received 3 texts and emails from USCIS assigned MSC Receipt Number [Day 37 I-130] [Day 4 I-485]

5/31/2016 : Received 3 x NOA I-797C for I-485, I-131, I-765 Priority Date : April 18, 2016 [Day 41 I-130] [Day 8 I-485]

6/15/2016 : I-130 was approved! :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: [Day 57 I-130] [Day 23 I-485]

6/18/2016 : Received biometric appointment letter [Day 60 I-130] [Day 26 I-485]

You might want to ask VJ members on a different feed. This one is for people still trying to get their spouses to America. You're several step ahead of us.

Yes, I am sure you guys will have your I-130 approved soon. I am April Filer, I got my I-130 approved in June 15th. God blessed

My PD 04/15 and my status today shows that my case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction.... I don't get it I just hope is for the best

same think happened to me two weeks ago. Which service center were you originally at?

I was at Potomac. I got that update, that I got a very similar update within an hour. No Details! Then I finally received the notice in the mail that it was transferred to NBC for "faster processing". I know exactly how you feel. Don't get it.
