Wow, 63 days. That is fast! Congrats. Seems the TSC is working miracles at times. Seems they've completely caught up with the backlog. The USCIS website shows normal 5 month processing times.

Unfortunately yes, after you get it there is another call to review the ds-261 (choice of agent) then after your spouse mail the IV and AOS then another call to verify your scan date (date they receive your mail) after that you wait for 30-45 days for case complete. :thumbs:

07/13/2016 - Another call to NVC and they said we must allow 2 weeks for them to put our case on the

07/15/2016 - DS-261 received and submitted

07/15/2016 - Case #, IIN, AOS assigned and paid (for daughter)

07/16/2016 - AOS Paid

07/18/2016 - Case #, IIN, AOS assigned (mom)

07/27/2016 - IV Fee Invoiced & Paid x 2

07/29/2016 - DS - 260 Unlocked x 2

07/31/2016 - DS - 260 Submitted online x 2

08/01/2016 - Mail the AOS & IV Packages to NVC x 2

08/04/2016 - AOS & IV Packages received by NVC

08/04/2016 - Scan Date

08/05/2016 - Hubby (agent) received an email from NVC that they got our packages - WAIT 30 DAYS

08/30/2016 - Case Complete (IR-2) :dancing:

08/30/2016 - RFE (IR-1) for Outdated version of I-864 :crying: :crying: :crying:

09/02/2016 - 2nd Scan Date

10/17/2016 - 2nd Case Complete (IR-1)

The good thing is that they approved it fast, I've been thinking about requesting expedition on my car hope they approve it because Nebraska is taking very long to approve cases

Hi Sofhi,

Yes, we called NVC to confirm if they receive our files from USCIS which they did 30th June. We will call them in again next week to find out if they assign a case number yet and other process.

Hi friends i called to nvc today. They said that they have received my case and put it in the system. They said they will email me . It might take 4 weeks. I didn't ask them the nvc case no. I will call them next week.

Hey guys I have a question, I know the beneficiaries passport size photos are sent to NVC with the documents, so does the petitioner have to send passport photos of them to NVC as well?

Passport photos are not required for NVC

Print those two cover sheets out. One is like a checklist for you to select what docs are enclosed in the packets you're sending. The other coversheet is for your AOS docs. Also when your IV bill is invoived there will be another cover sheet to send. Make sure you put everything in one envelope.

Im so hoping that August will be the month for all of the April filers out there...

December 2009 - First met.

February 2010 - Start of our relationship <3
January 7 2016 -Our Wedding in a romantic town of Aeroskobing <3

April 1 2016 - Sent CR1 package to RapidVisa.

April 18 2016 - CR1 Package delivered to USCIS Phoenix lock box.

April 22 2016 - Acceptance notification received by email. Case sent to Nebraska Service Center.

May 03 2016 - NOA1 hard copy received.

May 24 2016 - Return to the US to reestablish domicile.

August 3 2016 - Case transferred to Texas Service Center.

August 29 2016 - I-130 approved! (NOA2) <3 <3 <3

September 30 2016 - NVC Recieved.
November 14 2016 - Sent AOS and IV packages to Rapidvisa! :D
November 29 2016 - SCAN DATE!
February 15 2017 - Case Complete at NVC (11 weeks)
March 28 2017 - My Interview Day! :D (APPROVED!!!)

Does anybody knows that is the most recent I-130 approval for Nebraska? My case ends in 5969. I'm desperate.

Unfortunately, there's no way to know exactly when you will be approved or what case number they are working on. Every case is different. There are some on here who have been waiting since February. At the same time there are some who filed in March and have already be approved.

I know it's hard, but try to be patient. They say it takes about 5-6 months for the first step. My case is about a week ahead of you and am still waiting.
