P3 to P4 and Medical Check in Shanghai----K1 questions

Hi K1 filers,

May I ask that how long does it take for Guangzhou consulate to proceed P4 after they receive P3?

Here is my situation... I got my P3 on April 9th and sent out on April 10th. According to Shunfeng Express, my packet was received on April 12th. I paid my interview fee and scheduled my interview on CGI stanley afterwards. Even I haven't got my P4 yet!!! And my interview date is on May 3rd and I stupidly bought my flight which leaves on May 2nd...

Now my problem is... The designated panel physician in Shanghai requires not only interview confirmation but also two copies of P4 letter. This is what it says in the website. Other designated panel physicians don't ask for copies of P4... As I'm kind of running out of time. Can I just go with my interview confirmation?

PLEASE HELP and thanks in advance!!!

Joanna

Hopefully you got the information you needed. The easy way to find out about P3 and P4 timeframes is to review the timelines of folks that have recently gone through the GUZ consulate. Not certain if our timeline would be of much use, we were interviewed at the old consulate back in 2012.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I know this is a super late response, and you are already on your way to your interview, but the standard delivery time of the P4 is 5 business days after they receive your completed P3. This is all subject to change based on Holidays ect...
