If you have a WAC number, your petition was routed to CSC, not transferred. I know there are very many people on here who are confused about this. You sent the petition to Texas lockbox, not TSC - they are not related. Please update your timeline when you get the chance - it will improve the processing estimates for you and all other K1's on VJ :-)

Every single person sends their petition to Texas as the instructions say. From there it goes to either California or to the Texas processing center. The place you sent it to in Texas is an intake facility the fact that they also process petitions in Texas (not at the same address) is purely coincidental.

Thanks! I didn't know until now. I just updated my timeline.

I think you will be fine. Our explanation for that section was really vague. I did include that we met online but it was just something like "We met online on xx/xx/xxxx and then in person on xx/xx/xxxx and I did not receive an RFE. I have heard from people on here who send in literally PAGES of personal story about their meeting as if the people at CSC want to read their love story.

Worse case scenario is you receive and RFE and have to mail in a piece of paper where you include more details. You could type it up in Microsoft Word, sign it, and then send it in that day. It won't derail your application, just maybe a slight delay.

Oh, really? Because when I received my NOA1 it stated "Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing" so I figured that meant they processed it in Texas and were backed up, sending it to California? It confuses me.

hi A'n'L, I am reading this post and see you mention that WAC numbers mean your I-129 was routed directly to California. Since we sent ours to Texas and then got a notice it was transferred to California, I assumed it was first routed to TSC. Apparantly this was not the case. So would it be better to adjust my timeline?

Other than the fact that they are currently sending all the petitions to the CSC, this pinned topic should clear up confusion > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/538432-process-for-the-mailing-and-receiving-of-i-129f-petitions/

And to the OP about original question> They only need proof that you met at least one time in person within the 2 years prior to filing. It does not matter where that that visit in person took place, just that it did. Chat logs are not a requirement for the I-129F petition, so makes no difference what dates of chat logs you sent. Proof of the meeting is what they want and is required. You sent that.
