Definitely...she should not have texted him, and he seems like has buyers remorse judging from his google searches ...wonder how the police got that info? The phone must have been handed over voluntarily?

Typically, kids text and chat. A kid messing with a teacher spreads pretty quick since most dudes think it's a badge of honor. Either two things:

1. The kid was showing off and word got around he was sleeping with her. That's the most likely scenario IMO. You know something like that can't keep secret.

2. The husband saw the text and turned her in.
