I helped my grandparents and uncle to apply for tourist visas so they can come visit my mom and I. When I scheduled for their interview appointment online (cgifederal.secure.force.com), I was going to do my grandma's first, then my grandpa's, then my uncle's. so I created an account for my grandma, with her as the applicant, but there was a section where it asked about her travel companions, so I entered my grandpa and uncle's info (name, dob, passport number, MRV fee receipt number, DS-160 confirmation number). Then at the end, there's a page (appointment confirmation) with the applicant details (my grandma's), appointment details, document delivery info, MRV fee payments (all three of their names and receipt numbers), and instructions. they are all scheduled for an interview on the same date and time. but my question is, the appointment confirmation page at the end, is that the appointment letter for all three of them? Or am I supposed to create different accounts for my grandpa and uncle so they'll have their own appointment confirmation page? Thank you for your help.

I did the same thing for my Mom and three siblings. I created an account on cgifederal.secure.force.com just for my mom, and just added my three siblings' names in her appointment. When she printed it out, it showed all of their names on it. Did their appointment letter show all of theirs too? If yes, then they should be good. My mom and siblings already had their interview and at the Manila embassy they were only asked for one appointment letter.

Hi, thanks for replying. at the top of the page, the applicant details are only of my grandma. post-170785-0-02816800-1460917611_thumb.jpg then at the bottom, all three of their names are there for the mrv fee details. but my grandpa and uncle's infos aren't showing.post-170785-0-24399500-1460917614_thumb.jpg then again, on the profile page on the website, the appointment history page has all three of them scheduled, with all of their infos. so i guess, that really is it. Thanks again. P.S you and your hubby look cute in your pics. :D:P

UPDATE:

My grandparents and my uncle went for their visa interview yesterday (05/20/2016). 2 out 3 were approved for a visa (yay!). unfortunately, my uncle was not granted one. we are thinking that it may have to do with him being single and having a low income. they (us embassy) probably think that he secretly plans to find someone to marry and/or a job here in the US (which he does not). but now, we are all worried about the 2 elderly travelling by themselves.

do you think if he reapplies with the reason that we need someone to accompany my grandparents, he will be granted a visa?

thanks everyone

How old are your Grandparents.

Suggest you look into Travel Insurance, can be a real pain for the elderly.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

You can request wheelchair assistance when booking their ticket. Based on my parents experience with Philippine and Delta airlines, they are very good in accommodating elderly as long as you indicate what your grandparents need during the booking process. Take note special requests like wheelchair assistance are free(except some food). They will pick up your grand parents and assist them if they have connecting flights. They will help them carry their bags going security/customs etc until you can get them in the arrival area.
