Lisa,

Not sure what "Feel for your stones" means. I must have missed that movie or book, Please explain.

I have read "Men are from Mars, Ladies are from Venus" and i try to communicate more now than i did before i read it. My mind is not made up, as i said before, the replies have given me lots to think about. Earlier today, i decided to take Turboguy's suggestion and maybe go see her one more time to try to work it out & decide whether she really cares about me or not. But i am waiting on an email from her to see if she cares anymore. The last thing she told me last night was "i will email you soon with a decision", the decision being whether she wants to go forward with the visa. My gut feeling right now is to forget the whole thing, and forget women altogether. But who in "MY Hell" wants to go through life lonely and by themselves. Though i know i would probably be better off, i don't want to do it. So i don't have ANY answers. Though my mind says "forget her & move on", my heart has a mind of its own that says "hey you idiot, i think i am in love with this woman and i don't want you to forget her". So, what to do, what to do, what to do!!!! I am on the fence falling in both directions.

You don't need to go thru life lonely and by yourself. You need to find a good woman and not a woman looking for a green card that wants expensive cloths. Just because you werent stud muffin was no excuse to make you sleep alone, if she cared she would have been cuddled up with you regardless. From the outside looking in everyone could see you were being used but you went on the defensive. Two years down the road your money and your girl would most likely have been gone and since you have a hangup about being 62 I don't want to imagine how you would have felt at 64 so count your blessings that you finally saw the light. I understand your angry and emotionally distraught but if you don't want to be alone get your act together and go find a good woman while your still young. At 62 your not ready for the pasture yet so get that out of your head, Good luck to you.

Yes, but those are not the words you want your children to learn. tebya ponimau?

I agree the guy acted like a jerk but he did just watch his dreams and hopes go up in smoke? He did come here and asked for opinions but I think he got better ones and more direct ones than he expected. I have a feeling deep down in he new what we were telling him was true or he would not have asked the questions. Sometimes we have to learn from our mistakes. I hope he learned from his. He has some learning to do.

I thought wisdom came with age, he certainly is'nt a good judge of character. Some people have to learn from the school of hard knocks.

Sure, but to wish people's marriages to go to heck and to tell members to kiss his blessed assurance was flat out wrong whether he was upset or not and there is no excuse for that . I hope he finds some peace and comfort in his life.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I received a personal message from genem. What he last wrote was basically out of anger. Some people were pretty harsh on him. He regrets saying some of the things he did. But I told him it was courageous of him to bring something like this out into public for everyone to voice their opinions. I do not believe the guy is cold-hearted. He's got a good heart and his intentions were sincere with this lady. She on the other hand, did not share his vision. I think he was disillusioned with the situation which a battle ensued between his heart and mind. That is why he brought his situation here. He did take many people's opinions to heart and he ended with his fiancee. It was his decision and I think he did the right thing to move forward toward someone who waits for him that will take the loneliness away and replace it with the love he is looking for. I hope a very special lady comes along soon for him that won't try to make him sign marital agreements and ask for extremely expensive gifts. If they love you, they would never ask something like this of you. Good luck genem!

Yes, I think he was a better guy than his angry post indicated. I would have liked to have seen him find his happiness. Second choice would be for it to have lasted a few days longer because I was enjoying following this thread.

Elena: Spasibo Bolshoy! Likewise also! ;)

Turboguy: Yes, this was an interesting thread seeing all the different opinions and turns it had taken. Though this one has seemed to have ended. I am sure there will be something of interest coming along very soon to renew the spark of drama! There always is!

Yes, I guess they do. Well perhaps if nothing pops up in the next week or so one of us can post that they are 83 and their fiancee is 14 and we want to know about the legal age for marriage or something like that.

I want to apologize to anyone who was offended by my update post. I had just emailed my Fiancee' and was very angry and hurt. I do not wish anyone a bad marriage, ever. My apology does not apply to TimsDaisy, who i thought his remarks about whores and Johns was completely insensitive, and poor in taste. If you agreed with his post, then i am not apologizing to you either.

By the way, the $1,000 i gave to my Fiancee was for expenses for her and her son to go to Moscow for the visa interview and had nothing to do with sex, as TimsDaisy applied. She lives in Siberia and was going to have to spend at least 1-2 nights in Moscow for medical & interview.

Thank you, genem, you saved me from having to clarify to people your true character. The kind of language you used in your PMs to me was quite an indication of your personality. And I don't take back a single thing I've said with regard to your original question - yes, remember? YOU'RE the one who originally asked questions of all of us here?

You linked the money question to the bed question. YOU shared your sexual issues with the message board which is something that I really, really, really hope has taught others to refrain from doing so. I never made anything "dirty." You aired your private business here. You can't really be angry that others addressed your questions by using the information you provided.

You, sir, are presenting yourself to be a mean, vindictive, ill-tempered sort. I hope that you find a way to make peace with yourself and move on with your life.

p.s. as for your last-ditch defense and yet ANOTHER example of your need to constantly dribble out information as it suits you in an attempt to rehabilitate warm-fuzzy feelings from VJ members - I quote, from your first post, one last time:

"In your opinions, was i wrong for asking for my money back when she wouldn't come to bed?"

Your words, not mine. The girl was wrong and has been wrong from the start in her dealing with you. But you're - clearly - not a peach either. If the proof of that isn't in the original post and all your subsequent story-changing posts, then it is in your cruel language aimed at all VJers - oops, until you realized some of them were angry, then you excused them, and called me out instead. I'd expect no less, but still, badly done.
