Let's keep the immigration from countries balanced as it was meant to be. Millions of people, legal or not, from one country is not fair, is not balanced, and does not create the melting pot we all want America to continue to be. So to that I say send all the illegals home. You want to come back? Do it legally, just like you neighbor did. When your country meets its annual quota, try again next year.

When you're having a discussion with one (Peruvian) who says he hates Mexicans and Blacks (my response was get out and take your racism with you)....

And you invite one (Mexican) for Thanksgiving dinner and he doesn't show up because he is getting drunk and cheating on his girlfriend, while his wife is back in Mexico (I found out all this after the invite).....

and you know another (British) who has NEVER paid taxes (here for over 10 years).....

and another (Mexican) who buys a fake green card in NYC, stays here a few years, then petitions LEGALLY for his wife to come and she gets in!....

There is a reason why upwards of 75% of Americans do not want amnesty. And there is a reason why congress won't do much about enforcing the current law - it would cost us, the taxpayers, billions. So it's easier for them to give amnesty.

Back to the original point, it is not needed, there is a route already - F1 Student Visa.

And that has the advantage of OPT and a potential employer who will take you on and hopefully sponsor you for a GC.

I think what a lot of folks don't get is that whenever you give up something, it's gone. If there's not enough for those who are entitled to it, how will there be enough for those who aren't? You're advocating giving up what separates a citizen and legal permanent resident from an illegal who broke the law. You want to make them the same, but they aren't, nor should they be. There's nothing logical that says the US, if it wants its citizenry to prosper, must allow the importation of poverty and illiteracy that it is required to rememdy while its own citizens and those who came here legally are pulled down by the lowest among them and forced to compete with the most competent among them. They aren't supposed to be here, we should not be forced to pay their way and become equal with them, which is what some here seem to want.

You clearly missed something. I said nothing about illiterates going to college.

You're making the assumption that illegal immigrants and their children are poor (probably true) and illiterate (contentious) and that educational standards are being lowered as a result.

I go to this post and had to point out that Arizona (a border state that many use to enter illegally) has the number 1 worse education system... just a guess but I would wager that is due to illegal immigration and the "bleeding hearts".

Do you know why world peace is non-existent? Because we cannot tolerate achieving it due to one simple fact. The negative of people who stand by and watch while other who travel the world, and contribute their talent to help the under developed countries.

Again, illegals need to find ways of finding a method to start their legal process. Nothing is set in stone. One thing which I dislike, and have a strong hatred against is the retarded immigrants from Central America who blasts their music and create earthquakes throughout my neighborhood. They come here and live in public housing, and don't goto work. Their primary income is either SSI, or Welfare. I mean, this only make the stereotype stronger towards them. I know there's a handful of Peurto Ricans who also sees this happening and agrees that those people shouldn't be here.
