Just like how I believe the colleges, and high schools should kick out those delinquent students. They are a waste of taxpayers money too.

The children are the ones caught in the middle , the parents knew what they were doing, as did their parents prob before them. THere needs to be a solution of some kind but not rewarding for wrong doing. In time the adults will realize hey we cant do that anymore we better apply for etc......do things right and follow the rules.

I think what a lot of folks don't get is that whenever you give up something, it's gone. If there's not enough for those who are entitled to it, how will there be enough for those who aren't? You're advocating giving up what separates a citizen and legal permanent resident from an illegal who broke the law. You want to make them the same, but they aren't, nor should they be. There's nothing logical that says the US, if it wants its citizenry to prosper, must allow the importation of poverty and illiteracy that it is required to rememdy while its own citizens and those who came here legally are pulled down by the lowest among them and forced to compete with the most competent among them. They aren't supposed to be here, we should not be forced to pay their way and become equal with them, which is what some here seem to want.

To me the same holds true, fix it to where someone trys to come/stay here illegal a fit procedure i wont call it a punishment as such but a plan making it harder. This plan is enforced upon them and they go back, next time same thing maybe a little more, makeing them realize whats going to happen if rules and procedures arent followed. We follow rules and procedures to get our guys here they arent allow to walk in and stay without procedures. Put these into play and over time, hopefully it can get better. dont reward the ones doing wrong giving them what we cant even get for ourselves.

The law was made to protect the people. Not to punish them. This topic is enough for me. I rather see everyone treated equally. It's the most important lead to world peace.

Unfortunately we cant solve world peace when we can not solve our community peace. How do you feel about the criminal that sports a gun and pulls it on you? Here we have the concealed weapons act your supposed to be trained etc to carry a gun no license, no gun. Yea right how many drive by shooting came from those with the training? A criminal will not follow the rules you going to slap his hands and treat him equally or are you going to impliment something to show others NOT to do this( including his own children) who are now being taught by others what his parents failed to.

In a perfect world working together would work, but...the criminal holding the gun, sneaking across the border, robbing the bank, wont be in that equation to do any of the work, only take what they wont work for and to heck with those that do as long as they get what they want. In many cases the ones doing the wrong are protected by law more than those he harms. My guy cant walk across the border and stay, he cant even basically leave his country. But we can sure try to fill out the correct papers and pay the fees and try and try for years as some have done. My grandkids might like some good college education if their parents work hard and long enough for them to get it it wont be handed to them.

You clearly missed something. I said nothing about illiterates going to college.
