Hi guys,

Last week I submitted my wife's I-751 to remove her permanent resident conditions. With it, I included black and white copy, front and back, of her green card. Today, I received the application back with reason #10 checked: "You must include with your I-751 a copy of your I-551 card or passport visa indicating your a-number and your conditional resident status".

I thought a copy of the green card was all that was necessary. I don't see her A-number on green card, there is a USCIS number. I'm not sure what sort of document I have that states her A-number.

I plan on giving them a call but wanted to know what you guys thought. Thanks!

Whoops, figured it out. Looks like i had the incorrect A-Number (A-number is on the green card...). I think I used a case number from a previous filing that started with an 'A'.

I thought that it had to be a colour copy of the green card?

Nope, it doesn't have to be a color copy. I sent in a clear black and white copy of my green card and they had no issues with it
