Possibly a completely silly question...

As the petitioner for my fiance and soon to be husband...

When filling out any form for the adjustment of status (unless it asks for my maiden name) which name do I use since I will be changing my last name? Since my name changes when we get married and the adjustment of status is obviously done after the wedding, do I use my new last name? I am specifically referring to the I-864. Since the others have been fairly self-explanatory. My worry is that most of the supporting documents will of course have my current last name, which is not my maiden name either.

Thank you :)

It doesn't matter much for the USC. You can use married or maiden. I delayed changing my name for personal reasons, but had started using my husband's name by the time he filed for ROC. Used my name before current marriage(which was not my maiden either, was name from previous marriage) for AOS, and then the married name for the ROC paperwork with no problems at all.

It really only matters for the immigrant. They are the ones that need the correct name to be printed on their documents/cards.
