Thanks you guys...and yes we will stay strong...God is our source, we look to Him for all things...we believe that all things work together for the good...this is an opportunity for us to collect more evidence :goofy: .

That "KM" is a total trip !

I would file an official complaint. If your senator/congressman can't get him a second interview then you have to wait for the petition to be reaffirmed from

USCIS, long wait but there is nothing else to do.

So sorry for this nonsense in Ghana.

NVC Received : some dinkelsberry yehoo in the house of clingons send our petition to the wrong consulate.

Consulate Received : July 30,2014 Transfer to right embassy complete.

Interview Date : Oct 22, 2014

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

US Entry : Nov. 21, 2014

Marriage : Dec 27, 2014

AOS send : May 12, 2015, received May 14, 2015 USPS priority

Email &text : May 18, 2015, check cashed May 19,2015, return receipt May 21, 2015 stamped USCIS Lockbox, NOA1 (3x) May 22,2015

Biometrics : June 1, 2015 letter received for appointment June 8, 2015, successful walk-in June 1, 2015

RFE : June 12, 2015 for income not meeting guideline. Income does ( ! ) exceed guideline.

RFE response : June 26, 2015 returned with a boat load full of financial evidence.

UPDATE: July 5, 2015 updated on all 3 cases, RFE received June 30, 2015.

Service request : Aug 12, 2015, letter received that it will be processed within 90 days from receipt of RFE.

UPDATE: Aug 24, 2015, EAD card being produced/ordered. ( 102 days from AOS receipt day and 55 days from RFE response received.) Thank you Jesus !

Emails : Aug 24, 2015, EAD approved, EAD card ordered.

I-797 EAD/AP approval notice received : Aug 27, 2015

EAD/AP combo card mailed : Aug 27, 2015, EAD/AP combo card received: Aug 31, 2015

Renewal application send for EAD/AP : May 31,2016 (AOS pending over 1 year). Received June 2, 2016,Notice date June7, 2016, emails,texts, NOA1 hard copy

Service request for pending AOS April 21, 2016, case not assigned yet.
Service request for pending AOS June 14, 2016, tier 2 said performing background checks.
Expedite request for EAD/AP Aug 3, 2016, Aug10 notification >request was received, assigned, completed. RFE letter requesting evidence for expedite, docs faxed Aug18

*Service request for I-485 Aug 3, 2016, Aug11 notification> request was assigned. Service request Dec 2, 2016.
AOS Interview letter received Aug 12, 2016

AOS Interview September 21, 2016.

Second Biometrics appointment letters received for EAD and AOS on Aug 15, 2016 for Aug 17 ( 2 day notice).

Second Biometrics completed Aug 17, 2016

Third Biometrics appointment letter received Aug 19, 2016 for Sept. 1, 2016. WTH ?!

EAD/AP (renewal) approval Aug 22, 2016, NOA2 received Aug 25, 2016

Renewal EAD in production notification text and online, expedite successful 4 days after RFE request response was faxed, Aug25mailed,Aug29received.

Sept. 21 Interview, 2 hour interview, we were separated and asked about 50 questions each for an hour each. IO was firm but professional, some smiles.
Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

This is so sad and I to admire your strength and dedication. I also say nothing will keep us apart even if I have to move to Ghana. I am in the beginning of this process, married my husband first visit to Ghana because we love one another and are devoted completely to what we share. Age is huge difference but to others not us. I will pray for you all and pray for us as this is so discouraging. But we won't give up!!!

Sorry about your denial. Keep being strong it shall definitely come to pass. That she beeeech with "KM" initials is notorious for systematically refusing everybody at that embassy. This feels like a game to her for some reason. What a witch!

8/14/2014: Mailed AOS package: I-130, I-485, I-765.

8/18/2014: Accepted in Chicago. Transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

8/21/2014: Received NOA 1. I-130, I-485, I-765 in mail.

8/25/2014: Received biometrics in mail. Scheduled for 9/8/2014

9/24/2014: EAD approved. 36 Days!

10/01/2014: EAD mailed.

10/03/2014: Received EAD card.

10/14/2014: I-485 moved to testing and interview.

1/28/2015: Interview scheduled for 3/4/2015.

1/31/2015: Received interview notice.

3/4/2015: Interview completed and APPROVED!

3/5/2015: Welcome notice mailed and I-130 Approved.

3/10/2015: Welcome notice and I-130 approval notice received.

3/12/2015: Green card mailed.

3/14/2015: Green card delivered.

05/03/2018: I-751 transfered to NBC.

12/02/2017: Mailed N 400 to Phoenix, AZ Lockbox. (I-751 still pending)

12/05/2017: Package delivered in Phoenix, AZ. Transferred to Harrisonburg Processing Center.

12/07/2017: Notice of action issued. (IOE)

12/26/2017: Biometrics.

01/23/2019: Interview Scheduled for 2/27/2019.

02/27/2019: Joint I-751/N-400 interview. N-400 recommended for approval.

05/16/2019: N-400 APPROVED! Placed in line for oath ceremony.

05/17/2019: Oath ceremony notice mailed.

(Sorry) It happened to me last year with my husband still waiting on the second review it's been five years since I've seen they're really needs to do better GHANA Embassy needs to have a heart for people that have loves ones their family and husbands and wifes

Did you get married on the first time you met face to face in 2015? This has been a historic "red flag" in Ghana CR-1's. The other large rate of denial's for a "red flag" seem to be American woman much older that Ghanaian man. Haven't seen one of these cases on VJ been approved from Ghana being on this site over 2 years. Close to 100% denial on these two factors. Stay strong, your journey has at least a year or two until the possibility of a second interview. I am sorry for the bad news.

I know of one case where the petitioner was 15 years older than her fiancé and they got approved. So it is based on so many factors especially in Ghana.

Nobody has asked you this but has your hubby applied for any visa to us or uk ( these days data is not as siloed as u would think. Pivoting data and integrating is real)or applied for lotteries in the past and more importantly what info did he put on there . Like did previous jobs on there line up with what is on the current petition, or any random connect man fill it out and put married on it; they investigate and make up their minds prior to you sitting for the interview so something might be in the background that your not thinking of. And I love your spirit ...dont loose hope

Ghana's denial rate is out of control and it has been like that since I become a member in late 2011. Im truly sorry you guys are going through that and honestly you are not the typical case. It seems like you had all your ducks in a row. Definitely involve your congressman and think about new evidence

To my best of knowledge most CR1 get denied even than F2A petitions I also think number of years of marriage nutters to the embassy these days, as KM if you love him and it's real u will contact USCIS to reaffirm the case I honestly think they refuse cases just to text your pulse which is very unfair

Answers to your question are:

I am 10 years older than my husband (not sure if they consider that as a huge age difference... but I look much younger than my husband because I take very good care of myself)...in fact my husband is well beyond his years in maturity.

2) Had he ever applied for Visa before - yes
