How fast from interview to visa pick-up (if no AP)?

I scheduled the interview, and now I'm wondering - if everything goes well and my parent's visa is approved during the interview, (and assuming no delays due to AP or what not), how long does it usually take to actually get the visa in hand?

I'd love to be able to fly back together to the US, but I can't stay too long waiting for the visa issuance, due to work commitments.

Is it possible to get a visa in hand by Friday, after a Monday interview?

Depends on when the visa gets issued. During my interview, we were told to wait 5- 10 working days. My interview was Monday morning and when I got home the status says issued already. I picked up my passport and visa package on Wednesday so only 2 business days in my case.

Good luck!
