"Astonishing" two in three British Muslims would NOT give police terror tip-offs TWO thirds of British Muslims would not inform the police if they thought that somebody close to them had become involved with terrorist sympathisers, according to a poll.

This alarming revelation suggests that more than 100,000 British Muslims could sympathise with suicide bombers and people who commit terrorist acts.

The investigation is further proof that the Government’s counter-terrorism programme, Prevent, is not providing intelligence to the police from Muslim groups.

Former chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, Trevor Phillips, described this revelation as “astonishing” and “troubling”.

The survey also discovered that more than half of Muslims think that homosexuality should be illegal in Britain and 23 per cent of Muslims want Sharia to replace British law in certain parts of the country.

The findings also revealed that 39 per cent of Muslims thought that their wives should always obey their husbands and 31 per cent thought it was acceptable to have more than one wife.

A shocking five per cent of Muslims sympathised with people who took part in stoning adulterers.

Mr Phillips said the survey showed “the unacknowledged creation of a nation within the nation, with its own geography, its own values and its own very separate future.”

He said: “For a long time, I too thought that Europe’s Muslims would become like previous waves of migrants, gradually abandoning their ancestral ways, wearing their religious and cultural baggage lightly, and gradually blending into Britain’s diverse identity landscape.”

He said that the integration of Muslims requires a more “muscular approach to integration”.

The survey was conducted on a random sample of 1,081 British Muslims aged 18 and over

This isn't surprising or shocking. Poll after poll shows Muslims hold extremely terrible views on a wide range of topics. indeed, one of our resident Islam defenders who has left the faith should have been killed for it, according to the majority of Muslims in Egypt, for example.

The good news is the savagery condoned and encouraged by so many Muslims the world over does not find quite the foundation among British Muslims. If only five percent support stoning adulterers they are doing far, far better than most Muslim populations. According to pew, iirc, of the 23 Muslims nations they researched nine of them had majority populations responding that adulterers should be killed.

A lawyer in California has submitted a ballot initiative with the state Department of Justice calling for the death of anyone who engages in sodomy in the state, the San Diego Gay & Lesbian News reports.

The proposal by Matt McLaughlin, who lists his address in Huntington Beach, was received by the initiative coordinator at the Office of the Attorney General on Feb. 26. Enclosed was a $200 check and the complete text of his Sodomite Suppression Act. The act outlines seven measures relating to those who engage in same-sex sodomy, a monstrous evil that Almighty God, giver of freedom and liberty, commands us to suppress on pain of our utter destruction even as he overthrew Sodom and Gomorrha.

McLaughlin recommends punishment by death, even though a judge ruled that Californias death penalty is unconstitutional last June:

Seeing that it is better that offenders should die rather than that all of us should be killed by Gods just wrath against us for the folly of tolerating-wickedness in our midst, the People of California wisely command, in the fear of God, that any person who willingly touches another person of the same gender for purposes of sexual gratification be put to death by bullets to the head or by any other convenient method.

The document goes on to push a ban on the distribution of sodomistic propaganda (we can only assume he was inspired by Russia, as some note) and on sodomites from serving in public office. He also wants the act to be prominently displayed in public school classrooms.

I'm going to say you don't know any Muslims personally. Your comments show a wide array of ignorance.

For the record, I don't defend Islam. I just refuse to paint them all as homicidal maniacs. Being here, I deal with Muslims from places like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc. Every single time I've introduced myself and they learn I'm a revert, guess what? They just say okay and keep it moving. No beheadings, no executions, nothing. In fact, we usually strike up conversations and have discussions about Islam and the West. One officer from Pakistan told me he wishes they would change most of the laws in his country since he feels like people shouldn't be killed for leaving Islam. I even get presents from them that range from souvenirs to favorite foods or snacks they make for the Taste of Asia event.

It's sad that someone who swears they want to end racism has no qualms with hating an entire religion and those who practice it. What I can't understand is, why do it here? I mean, there are sites that bash Islam all day and it's evident if a spouse is from a predominately Anglo Saxon country, there would be no issues fitting in, I know most of the Motley Crew are here because they CAN'T go where they would be more comfortable, foreign spouses have seen to that, but other than that it's mind boggling.
