My wife, who has been here a little over a year and is now a resident, is pregnant. We want to bring her mom here to visit from the Philippines when the baby is born. Just looking for advice on the visa process to do this.

you can't bring anybody on a tourist visa, they apply on their own and have to prove strong ties to their country

Pay the $160 and have an interview. Show strong ties to home. That's all that can be done. You can't "help" the process.

Hello! I'm in the same situation. Living in the US for almost 2 years and pregnant. Recently I told my mom to apply for a US Tourist Visa to be with the baby. She went to her interview and got approved. Mom's a housewife and is being supported by me and my sister.

Hi! I ask my mom and my younger sister( who's currently enrolled to school) to apply for a tourist visa. They were now preparing for an interview in USem in Philippines. She has no work also and a full time mom to my 2 sisters my dad and I will be supported her on their trip to U.S. Is there any possibility they'll get denied?

Im in the same situation, just got here in sanfo last year and now im pregnant, my mom's interview was yesterday, everything went smoothly the consul ask her about her job and how did i get here and how long she will stay, and then the consul said her travel is approved, we never expect that much because my mom just own a mini grocery store in our province, but thank god she got her visa
