my husband and i got married a month ago and we sent in the application to Chicago, IL (USA) a week and a half ago..

my questions for anyone thats been through the process or knows;
how long until did it take for them to notify you of it being received (through the electronic notification) ?

how long did it take to process?
how long from when you sent in the application to approval date did it take?

the USCIS website processing time date for Chicago says 'July 2015'

kinda worries me to think that they are processing applications from 10 months ago.

It really is the luck of the draw and it widely varies.

The electronic notification is typically within a week.

What are you adjusting from? That typically makes a difference.

My wife adjusted from a K1. From AOS NOA1 to approval of the Green Card, it took my wife's case, 76 days to get approved with an interview waiver. For others, it's as much as 9, 10 months.

The EAD/AP should be approved roughly in 2 months, give or take.
