Good Afternoon,

My spouse and me get married on the Jan 8^th , on Jan 20^th we send all paperworks for the adjust of status and employment authorization, on Jan 25^th the USCIS confirmed they received our case, on Feb 22^nd I made my biometrics, On March 10^th We received a Request for initial evidence, as my Spouse travelling for work we were just able to send them on March 29^th, On April 6^th The USCIS confirmed they received the paperworks and they will resume our case. My question is how long before they effectively resume back our case, referring the VJ timeline I should have been approved for the employment authorization but still nothing showed up on the USCIS site? As I’m tracking my case sometimes I check the case before and after us to see how fast they are moving, today I realized on all case that should be approved from Jan 25^th just 1 been approved completely (Authorization and green card). If someone have an answer I will really appreciate it, as this situation is stressing for my Spouse and me, especially for me who can’t work and just stay at home lol.

The USCIS stated processing times for EAD in connection with a pending Adjustment application is 90 days. According to the USCIS website, the 90 days is put "on hold" when you receive an RFE, and resumes when they receive your response. So it would be January 25 + 90 days + however many days it took you to respond to the RFE.

USCIS also lets you put in a service request for your EAD case if it has been pending for more than 75 days, but the same rule applies for RFEs. It's 75 days plus the number of days it took you to respond to your RFE.
