Not sure either, our credit score is around 750. We aren't sure why I got rejected either, I mean banks actually sent me CC offers and they rejected me, like Woot? I believe because I'm jobless.

I have been looking very hard for corporate jobs, even engaging agents to scout for me. Its sad that I have received some calls asking on my green card status and I explained to them that I am waiting for removal of conditions, no news from them after.

Hopefully I will get something soon. Just need that kind hearted soul to recruit me lol.

Don't worry Vennie, I been here for so long and I haven't manage to pass my driving yet lol.

Why even tell them about the ROC? .... you have a GC now so perfectly legal status :)

Planning for Christmas. Christmas is the best in my country. I should have been home sincentives last year lol. Got frustrated last year when I was job hunting and getting the run around with regulatiins that I packed my bags 2 times.

All I can say is my husband is a patient man?

Things have settled down now since I start working. My only plan now is to Lear how to drive and have a few mini us?

Haha I like that plan ;)

Oh wow. Some people can be so insensitive to other's feelings. I live in the Grayson area and I have only one neighbor to my right and it's a older lady living in New York she comes down twice a year and my other neighbor is the deers, squirrels and birds. I cannot see myself living anywhere else.

I do hope things work out soon for you and your husband.

Just be careful out there please

I believe it is because of my education and job history, since I have none in America, so they asked about my status in America, I told them that I have a GC and I've got married and moved to America which is why it will be my very first job in US, so they naturally ask about my green card status, and I explained that I'm waiting for removal of conditions but it will not affect the job at all. However, after explaining, I receive no calls or updates.

Hmm okay I would probably not even tell them so much if that was me.

You live in Fulton! :-O no wonder you want to get out of there! Hopefully that can happen soon. Be careful.

Yesh lately I've learnt my lesson too, not going to tell anymore. Realized that telling recruiters too much isn't a good idea.

I'm looking at Chamblee area too, they've new apartments developing, hopefully it will be done by August. Its around farmer's market. Walking distance is good since we only have one car at the moment.

We were at the SSN office yesterday to change our status. Very nice and easy.

I did read on the wall and on the screen that all of GA no longer except birth certificate or limited DL as ID just so you all know.

Norcross. A huge mess.

but it is all over GA it said in the sign.

Haha...I have to go back to Norcross with my NOA1 because they do not want to change my maiden name to my new last name without my NOA1 or EAD. They wanted to send me to the Atlanta field office to get my name legally changed on all my AOS documents before I can come back and get my name changed on my SS card. I wait until I have my NOA1 in the mail and then I will go back there. They did not want to accept my marriage license as proof of name change.

I have no words for that... :-D
