Did you expedite your case at NVC?

Hi! No I didn't so I'm very surprised it happened to quickly!

USCIS Stage:

Married:12/30/2015 (L)

PD: 2/12/2016 at Potomac

Approved: 4/27/2016 at Potomac .. ( 75 Days! ) :dancing:

Case sent to NVC: 5/4/2016

NVC Stage:

NVC received case: 5/9/2016

NVC case number and IIN assigned: 5/21/2016

Choice of Agent (DS-261): 5/23/2016

AOS Fee Invoiced: ​5/23/2016

AOS Fee Paid: ​5/23/2016

DS-261 reviewed over the phone: ​5/24/2016

AOS Fee shows as "Paid": ​5/24/2016

IV Fee Invoiced: ​5/25/2016

IV Fee Paid: ​5/25/2016

IV Fee shows as "Paid": ​5/27/2016

Filled out DS260: 06/06/2016

Sent out AOS and IV packages: 06/11/2016

For some reason Brazil, DR and Mexico cases are all expedited.

This must be something new with DR at least. I recently started seeing these cases from DR completed this quickly. My preparer even told me to wait the normal time frame when I sent out the packet and was so surprised when I text her this morning saying that my case was complete.

USCIS Stage:

NVC

Received case April 22

June 20th CASE COMPLETE?

Interview date: waited 160 days, January 3 ... APPROVED! VISA COLLECTED JANUARY 5

Case complete today June 20th, after a checklist on June 13th. Scan date was May 12th.

Congratulations! I am hoping for good news this week. My scan date is May 19th.

Why did you have a checklist? Format of your marriage certificate? What was wrong with it?

Case complete June 18 2016. Now waiting for the interview. Yea :dancing:

Please what is your new scan date after sending the checklist?, I have a checklist too, previous scan date May 10th, received checklist June 13, new scan date June 16, my checklist was on my AOS.. please when is your new scan date.

The circumstances surrounding jordache463 checklist were different than yours. In his case, it sounds to me that it was NVC's fault. I would say you have to wait 30 or so days from the scan date of your checklist. Sorry to deliver the bad news.

Pretty sure NVC doesnt work on Saturdays. I think your CC date should be June 17, the Friday before.

Pretty sure NVC doesnt work on Saturdays. I think your CC date should be June 17, the Friday before.

According to the Rep I spoke with today. She said June 18. 2016. You never can tell, maybe they were working overtime.

I keep checking on CEAC website and all it says is 'AT NVC" for the last month

Youre clicking the visa staus you should go to the option that has DS-260 application. Log in and if your AOS is showing NA thats case complete.
