DS - 260 ONLINE REGISTRATION PROBLEM

Hello everyone!

Just received my MNL case number today and tried to do the online registration thru https://ceac.state.gov/ceac and I'm having some trouble after I click the "Continue" button.

Here's the exact error message:

The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records. Please try again or contact the National Visa Center for further assistance.

Did anyone else experience the same issue? If yes, how were you able to push through? I called the IV Unit, and they said they really can't help with the registration process. I also switched to different internet browsers, from Google Chrome to IE. I'm currently stuck and I need to go through this in order for me to proceed with the medical appointment and the final interview.

Any tips will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Anabanana18 is having the same problem and below is what she did:

Hi, 7Ken! I tried calling the US Embassy here at the Philippines and said they will elevate my case to the NVC. Until now, it still does not work. However, they have instructed us to proceed with the scheduling of the interview and the medical but warned us that we have to finish the the DS 260 prior to the interview. I have scheduled the interview mid May, so Im praying that they will be able to fix it before that time.

Most likely it's just taking a couple of days for DoS to get your case.

If it doesn't update soon you can contact them.

"anabanana18" was able to accesses hers yesterday I believe. It just took a couple of days.

In our case we received our IVMNL email one day and one from DoS (Dept of State) the following day.
