K-1 Visa for Khmer Fiance(e) Foreign Male Over 50

not a problem, i did my interview and pass last week. i am 55 she is 28 Cambodian lady. she looks young, then again i looks in good shape. on the picture we looks like a matching loving couple. if you guys looks like a grand father and a grand daughter in the picture, they will highly suspect that is going to work out and might want u to go through couple more time to prove it. it means fail the first time for sure.

It is good to know that it is actually possible to have a K-1 approved in Cambodia. I am the same age and did not want to begin a relationship with someone and find out there was no way to ever bring the lady to the US and marry. If you do not mind me asking what were the main questions asked to your fiancé or of you? Also if you have any further insight do you know any other that have been approved? I would like to get the statistical approval/failure rate for K-1's in Cambodia. Thanks.

if u do all the required doc they ask for and tell the truth of it without making frauds, they is no way they can denny you. Last thing they want is lie and fraud, and it will affect all your future any other application because they make a record of it. As long as you are not breaking the Cambodia law by marrying over 50's over there, it is fine. The immigration and you are all subject to U.S law. They cannot ban you from marry anybody over the issue of age different. You just have to prove it even you have to go through couple times, prove that you guy are still together. I have friend that gone through 3 times and finally by marriage route even he is 32 and the cambodia girl is 17. Is a big red flag to them, they will dig thro with many questions asked.

For my, they actually want to see us having conversation to each other like a couple for few minutes, so to see if we can communicate really of not really making up all the evidence in black and white forms. So it really caught me off guard and we really aren't prepare of it. Even though the officer commented that i did a good job on the the photo taken and supporting evidence of been together in numerous vacation,plus prove of engagement in Cambodia. Bottom line they want to is you "walk like a duck quack like a duck". good luck to you
