Oh, that would be so nice and so efficient on the Part of USCIS if they do that and send email or text message telling the petitioner what is the RFE for...Would be so cool!

I understand they use that bar code on the bottom to scan and route the response, but they can't do that in an email form, if we request it that way? But on the other hand, security and hacking and identity theft and the sky is falling...

Signature coming soon...

The letter of intent was signed by hand by her...and then scanned...and sent to me. Then printed out in kinkos. Is that ok? Or did it have to be the original?

I've heard it to be an issue for some, and not for others.

Seriously though, just relax and wait for the letter

May be it. Supposed to be original, some people do get away with copies though. Could be one of a hundred other things too though.

What about the G325A how was it signed? Why she did not send original letter of intent along with the G325A?

I have read that some people receive RFE for the copy and I would suggest to save you time...to ask your fiance to make a new on and have sent to you, just in case they would ask for one.

Could be. I had one on the 9th April, my luck it arrived while he was here in the UK with me instead of before hand. So we had to wait ages to send the reply back. It was the IMB one. Easy as pie, printed off all the stuff we wrote a cover letter and sent it back. Been waiting a week today, so hopefully we'll hear something soon.

All you'll do by wondering is stress yourself, I had to stop coming on here for a few weeks as I kept reading what other people got RFEs for and stressing myself out. Now I'm stressed waiting for the NOA2 again. It's a vicious cycle.

As long as you did what they asked you to (instructions), you'll be fine. It took 2,5 weeks for approval after they received my response to my RFE. It's indeed a vicious circle and after all these weeks, all I can say is: Easier said than done but don't stress! 9 out of 10 times it's not necessary and it's an easy fix!

my RFE came in an email before the letter. Did you give them a good email ID and check there? i had forgot to sign my middle initial in signature as was on my passport and driver's license.

Are they really critical of the actual signature? I have a middle name, but never sign with the initial.

Went through K-1 (I-129F) AOS (I-485) EAD (I-765) AP (I-131) processes. Thanks to the Visa Journey community for their help and support!

Then your signature doesn't include a middle initial.

My question was really centered around how much scrutiny there is of signatures. I checked the master RFE list and only saw entries for missing signatures -- not "mismatches". That is, "you didn't sign", not "you didn't sign uniformly".

Some people have really long/exaggerated signatures that don't fit well into form boxes and might require an adjustment of some kind.

More curious than anything.

What I was trying to say was your signature is your signature no matter how it looks. The person you replied got a RFE because they used middle initial on some documents but not others. Signatures must always be consistent. If you use a middle initial cool, if not cool. Yes the check for things like that. Edited by Shauneg

I just received my RFE. Turns out it was just two questions I missed.

So how do I respond to this? Where do I mail this back to?

For reference.... my cover letter looks like this... (Except for alien fiance, not non immigrant worker)
Stapled on are two pages, with the two questions from I-129F that I missed... basically I missed questions on Page 5, part 3, Question 2 and 3 of form I-129f.

Do I simply answer the two questions on the page itself that they mailed me? Then just send these pages back at the address on the bottom of the blue page?
