I did some reading and discovered that other members has gotten RFE for not sending the religious contract with their I-130 application. Since I didn't send it and I have gotten an RFE (haven't gotten it yet but I trying to over prepare, lol) I am assuming this will be the case for us as well. My question, I had my wife translate it in Jordan and email me a copy of the translation. Do I need to send the original translation or a copy of it will suffice?

Also, the translation she got doesn't have the below part that I saw on other threads...but it has the translator office stamp that says "certified true translation"

I was thinking I can add the below part if needed and sign it since I am fluent in both languages.

I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and ________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________.

you send a copy, all originals will be needed for the interview at the consulate, never send originals to USCIS. Our copy only had the stamp that said " said certified true translation" we didn't have any issues. Good luck!

Nope, wasn't me. My husband is now in the process of applying for citizenship and never at any stage of our process from the original i-130 petition all the way through removing conditions and now naturalization has he ever received an RFE for anything. We have never received an RFE for anything at any step in the process
