Hi - friends recommended this website as a start point in our journey so just getting the hang of this.

I'm a US citizen, never having lived in the USA, married to an Australian. I've been offered a job in the US and would like to move ASAP - I have both immediate and extended family there. Someone suggested a DCF may be the fastest way to get my husband across - and able to work. I've got a consultation booked in with an immigration lawyer next week, but want to look at a bunch of options before then.

Looking at the Spouse Visa option, it could take ages! On the surface, does it look like I could pursue the route of DCF? Seems like a much shorter process time, so I'm hoping the answer is yes, but want to make sure we do things properly.

Thanks.
