Hi,

my fiancé (US citizen) just got out of the military and is now going to school full time. The military pay for his school and pay him about 3000$ per month + about 1000$ for unenployement. Where can we write all that on the form? It's probably not counted as a salary, but he still makes enough.. We will get a co sponsor to be sure, but I still wanna know where to write down his income that the military gives him every month..

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I believe his VA benefits count as income but he needs to show proof of them because it's not taxable income so doesn't show up on his taxes.

Unemployment however does not count towards income.
