So i went to the philippines two weeks ago and i asked her to marry me and she said yes. We are madly in love but we must wait until she is out of college(18 months). Anyways what should i do now to build a good case to show the USCIS that we are legit. We have photos of us together, and i make enough for the K1 at the rate i'm going yearly.

Visit her as often as you can, keep the evidence.

Read the guides to be prepared.

Also, your case only needs to be "good enough" - it's not a competition ;-)

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

to piggyback -

for evidence of meeting in the past 2 years -save your flight itineraries, keep your physical boarding passes, entry stamps on your passport, ATM receipts or bank statements showing you spent money in PH, hotel/restaurant/event receipts -- and photos of course

proof of relationship for embassy interview -

all of the above (meet their family and take photos), receipts for gifts you've sent each other, chat logs (make sure whatever system [hangouts, skype, messenger, yahoo] is logging your conversations)

Went through K-1 (I-129F) AOS (I-485) EAD (I-765) AP (I-131) processes. Thanks to the Visa Journey community for their help and support!

Content is key. Not how many pictures you have or gifts you have sent, what do you talk about. And, it better be about serious relationship and life planning stuff.

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!
