Hello everyone

Today i recieved message from USCIS telling me that my case has been sent to nebraska service center

Please did anyone had his case treated by this center ? Is it good center or hard one ? N how long does it take to be treated?

My case is currently in Nebraska too. My NOA1 was on 02/02/16. They're a little behind but they've been catching up lately. Check the Immigration timelines to get an idea of the dates they're approving. As of right now they're approving December and according to estimation dates my case could be approved by June 13th to the 23rd. That would make it 4 months and a half since my NOA1.

Mine sat 9 months in Missouri and in October 2014 was sent to Nebraska with an accompanying note saying sent to Nebraska for faster processing / NBC had it till April 2015 i know this was over a year ago but it may give you an idea

Don't be scared at all the old posts ... they make it look like it takes FOREVER but apparently Nebraska is 2nd quickest right now. That thread has been going for a while, just jump to the last few pages haha.

They have started approving some from November which is far better than the Sep2nd listed on the USCIS site :) That's promising at least.

It seems many of the March filers on this forum for sent to Nebraska, which I hope is because they're getting quicker

Sent petition to USCIS Chicago lockbox (via in-laws to put check in US$): 11 Mar, 2016

NOA1: 24 Mar, 2016 (email notification 30 Mar. Hardcopy 11 Apr)

Service Centre: NEBRASKA

NOA2: 3rd Aug 2016

Petition sent to NVC: 18th Aug 2016

NVC Stage

Case number assigned: 8th Sep 2016

Paid AOS Fee: 9th Sep 2016

Paid IV Fee: 14th Sep 2016

DS-260 submitted: 25th Jan 2017

AOS & IV Package sent: 25th Jan 2017

Expedite requested: 25th Jan 2017

Expedite approved (consulate only): 1st Feb 2017

Scan Date: 31st Jan 2017

Case Complete: 14th April 2017 (10 weeks 4 days)

Full expedite approved (bypass NVC to send file to embassy), however too late as I already had case complete 17th Apr 2017

Case arrived at Embassy: 21st April 2017

P4 letter received: 26th April 2017 (expedite at embassy stage so this came from the consulate, not NVC)

Medical date: 26th April 2017

Interview date: 4th May 2017 APPROVED!!

Visa received: 8th May 2017 

POE (entered the USA): 15th May 2017
