Hi all,

Some of the excellent guidance on VisaJourney and in individual forums posts appear to suggest that there is a luck of the draw as to whether your AOS adjudicator knows how to interpret the Vaccination record. This is particularly pertinent when the form hasn't been marked as complete/incomplete yet you all the relevant waivers are marked. Presumably, most adjudicators do know this information but of course some may not.

Do you think there is any benefit in printing out the guidance from the adjudicator policy book and including it with your application? Or perhaps just including a few sentences telling them where to find the guidance? The guidance would be:

Or do you think that would be antagonistic and would really annoy the adjudicator?

I have no idea of how likely the issue with the Vaccination record crops up as a RFE problem in reality, and therefore how much effort is reasonable to mitigate against it. I imagine my local office would be Manchester NH and I have no idea how experienced that will be with Vaccination records for K1 visas.

Simon.

P.S. Am I right in thinking that the Vaccination record issue is more likely when your file is adjudicated at a local USCIS office rather than at the NBC? I surmise this given that the USCIS office might get fewer K1 applicants on their desk and so be less familiar with the specifics of Vaccination record issues.

Would you be annoyed if someone preemptively told you didn't know how to do you job and assumed you didn't know what you were doing?

Thanks Shauneg and Transborderwife. (L) I appreciate your answers, which I consider to be a resounding "nope! do not send!". I'm always glad to have others' opinions so thank you again!

Simon.

I'll reply when I get home. Rubbish on my phone.
