the movie would return to the classic hand-drawn animation process, instead of using computer animation that has become the industry standard.

doesn't that mean it won't be CG?

So it would seem... odd considering their press release a while back AND the fact that their hand drawn films just don't make as much money as the CG ones. Ah well, it's their money!

Let me help you understand. The actors, and actress diversity is nice. But, when you show two different race parents giving birth to another race. What do you think the kids will think? Does that make you understand better? If not, I can continue...

A long time ago, Disney made a movie called "Cinderella" I think. It has a black queen, a white king, an asian prince. Weird. How can the mating of a black person, and white person produce an asian offspring?

I have worked at Walt Disney World for over 10 years... so I'm pretty familiar w/the Disney stuff. And I thought you were smoking the crack pipe when I first read this... until it hit me... a few years ago, there was a live action TV movie on Cinderella. Whitney Houston produced it and was the queen or fairy god mother, Brandy was Cinderella and I think there was an asian prince. I don't know if Disney has anything to do with that production.

As for the new animated movie, it is a return to the old style hand drawn animation from what we have been told.

It was made in 1997. How old are you? Geez, I'm not even 30 yet and I was an adult when it was released.

Bernadette Peters also had one white daughter and one black daughter. It's called fantasy for a reason.

To be honest, I don't think there are many under tens out there who would even notice. Or be bothered. I agree, fantasy is fantasy. I doubt that Rapunzel had hair that was long enough to reach the ground in a 100 foot tower...or that Sleeping Beauty fell asleep for 100 years and didn't die.

1. A lady named tinkerbell who flies around in a mini-skirt spreading fairy dust everywhere

4. A vest-wearing dog named Goofy that walks upright like a man

5. The fact that Mickey, Donald, and Goofy, never show any signs of age over the years

6. Etc., etc., etc. :D

Cinderella was released in 1950

they are referring to the version of Cinderella that came out in 1997.. it had Brandi in it... It wasn't Disney though....
