DS-3025 Don't Have A Copy/Wait for an RFE for I-693?

Hello, I've got 2 questions:

1. I have my AOS interview on May 11th and it'll be over 1 year since I filed, so I'm expecting to be told I'll need an I-693. According to my AOS cover letter I sent a photocopy of my DS-3025 Vaccination Record that was given to me from the medical I had in London, which suggests I should have the original laying around but for whatever reason I cannot find it. I'm extremely organized and I've kept all my Immigration documents together, so the only thing I can think of is that I sent the original. Will a Civil Surgeon need to see this official Vaccination Record in the form of the DS-3025, or will they accept my vaccination record that was given to me in the UK? The reason I ask this is because my vaccination record is literally a shoddy looking print out, it has my name, my DOB, my UK address, the name of my UK doctor + list of up to date vaccinations and that's it. It was good enough for the nurse at the medical in London, will this be the same case in America with a Civil Surgeon?
2. I've been reading on VJ about people who have gone to their AOS interview knowing that their medical was expired and yet got approved and didn't receive an RFE. I'm thinking perhaps I should go and see what happens in the small chance that they approve me without needing to fill out an I-693, and if I do receive an RFE for this then I'm prepared to go to the CS but I would rather avoid the cost if I'm lucky. Thoughts and experiences on this?

Unfortunately, I think you may have in fact sent your only copy since the original should be in the envelope with the other docs you surrendered at POE when entering the country and you would've only gotten a photocopy from the medical.

That makes sense. The only thing I can think of is asking for a copy of it at my AOS interview since they'll have it with them in my file I'm assuming? I hope they are co-operative.

See what they say at the interview. Depends on the interviewing officer.

They should have the actual original DS-3025 in your file so ask for a copy. The civil surgeon, if needed, should be able to take the record from your doctor as well.

Thanks Nich, as always hearing your input puts my mind at ease! I'm going to wait for the interview to see what happens and go from there. Fingers crossed that they approve me with no RFE, but if I do get one then toes crossed they give me a copy of DS-3025.

I'll keep this thread updated on my progress for anyone using it as a future reference.

For future reference, I was not asked for a new medical. I was adjusting my status from a K-1 visa, my UK medical was 28th January 2015, AOS was received at lock box May 11th 2015 and interview for AOS was May 11th 2016.

That was a looong year wasn't it ?!
Meanwhile back at the ranch we are still waiting, ready to renew the EAD/AP which hopefully will trigger movement on the AOS.

It flew by in all honesty! Being able to work is a huge positive. Once it came time to renew my EAD I wanted my AOS to move along that's for sure. I'll be celebrating with you when you hear back about AOS!
