I was told that 90 days before our 2 year wedding anniversary, we needed to file for removal of conditions. My husband entered US on 10/30/15....our 2 year wedding anniversary is 7/29/16...this puts us for filing for removal of conditions THIS MONTH. problem is, we dont yet have his physical green card, and you need a copy of it in order to file for removal.

Another person told us, removal of conditions happens on the 2 year anniversary of his GREEN CARD. so...closer to our 4 year anniversary?

Which is correct!??!

There's even a fancy calculator on the USCIS web site to let you know when you're eligible to file the I-751.

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/dateCalculator.html

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

You need to receive your green card and then you can determine 90 days from when it expires

Not really. The OP entered as a CR1 so 2 years from the date of entry is when the green card expires.

Op knows what I'm referring to, they have not received their GC card yet, so when they get the card, then they can look to see when it expires.

But you don't NEED the green card for that when you enter on a CR1. However, yes, you can wait for the green card to get that particular date.
