There are two affidavits of support. Which one is needed for the embassy interview. Granted it is a ways off for us but I want to leave with her on my next visit. Do I use the 134 or 184??

The I-134 is used for the K-1 visa interview. Later after you are married and filing for AOS, you will need the I-864.

Thanks for the tips, next question. What did you guys put on line 11 of the I-134? I do not intend to make specific contributions because she will be my wife and living with me. The question seems strange to me, or is it just a generic question?

Look at the example form on the top tab...

I am also a little confused about the I-134 form. Does anyone know, am I supposed to send this form in with my k-1 visa petition or do I just send it to my fiancé when he goes for interviews at the US embassy? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

s not going to be send with the I-129F. After the NOA2 you send this and supporting documents to your fiancé to take with him/her to the interview.

Read the guides on the top tab for more info.

Read the I-129F form instructions. It tells you everything that is required. The guide here lists everything needed for the I-129F petition filing. If the I-134 is not listed in the form instructions, then it is not required with the petition.

It is needed later for the K-1 visa interview. You can research the instructions for the consulate you will go through. Follow those instructions when it is time for the K-1 visa to be applied for.

Can I can add a question to this forum please? My fiance lives in Nigeria and I want to know if the I-134 form has to have a wet/live signature or can I scan it to him? Where he lives is virtually no mailing system and expensive to DHL...I can try to find a family member or friend to transport it if it has to be a live signature but if not I don't want to go through those pains.

Thank you

I believe it should be a wet/live signature.
