Hi everyone,

So my fiance applied for the K-1 visa back in January 2016. Our case was finally received by the consulate on April 5th. We went ahead and filled out the DS 160 along with paying the Visa fee on April 6th, but to our surprise, when we got to the interview selection part of the process, the only two dates showing available were April 8th and April 11th which are wayyyy too soon for us. My fiance does not live in Bogota so it would be almost impossible to make it to Bogota and get everything done. We are concerned because every other date after that is completely grayed out. Has this happened to anyone else at this embassy?? Do more dates show up quickly or is the wait time for new available dates long?? We're anxious to get this process over with so we can be reunited at last, so this kind of scared us to see that nothing was available...

please give us your input!

Good luck to everyone

D & S

Hello D & S.

I am in Bogota waiting to get my package from the embassy. Are there any dates available in may or june? If I can get in touch with your fiance we can help each other a bit. 310 2697241.

Hello everyone,

I don't know if I'm in the right forum but our case was received by the NVC, we got our case and invoice number? is there anything we should be doing right now to have ready by the time the consulate receives our petition? we filled out ds-160 already and don't know if we can pay for the visa or wait? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated? Also, anyone know about how long it is taking to schedule the interview?

Thank you!!
