Hello,

I am currently an F1 student in the US, and I have been in status for almost five years now. Me and my husband got married in October, but because of travelling issues (we had to travel to Turkey for three months), we just got to send in the documents for AOS. Hence, On April 1st, we filed the full pack, (I-130. I-485, I-765 and I-131) to chicago lockbox. We have not received the NOA1 yet.

Just yesterday, I learnt that I was accepted to a very prestigious conference in Italy, which will start on June 27th. I was wondering what are the chances of the AP coming before this time.

Thank you for your time!

My fiancee got her AP just over two months after filing, though in your case this is cutting it close. Keep an eye on Infopass appointments at your local USCIS office to make sure you have enough time to go in and request emergency AP if need be.

This is wonderful to hear! Though I'm assuming that it didn't include your biometrics, right? They have received all of my documents on April 4th and on the 11th I received the paper NOA. I am still waiting for the biometrics....

Emergency AP may be possible. I've seen it granted for less than this.

Really? How does that work? Do I make an infopass appointment for 'a new application' or would it be for the processing of my already filed application for AP?

We did our biometrics when we apply for I-485 and apparently we don't have to do it again for the AP.

I just sent them 2 passport size photographs.

My daughter's AP case was never updated on their website and suddenly one day I got a text saying that Card/document is in production.

Hopefully, you will get yours soon!
