Hi, everyone! My husband has filed DCF for me and our two other kids. We have received in our emails our case numbers and interview scheduling instructions. This is everything the email contains:

Dear BERRY, ANA ALCANTARA:

We received the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)-approved visa petition filed on your behalf.

You should visit this website: http://www.ustraveldocs.com, or call the Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 976-8500 to 02 from the Philippines or (703)-520-2235 from the United States, between 7pm-7am EST / 6pm-6am CST / 5pm-5am MST / 4pm-4am PST to schedule a visa interview appointment. The call center is openMonday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Manila time), except on U.S. and Philippine holidays. Callers must have the case number, passport number, and passport expiry date for each applicant (principal applicant and derivative family members) ready when requesting a visa appointment.

All applicants must register their delivery address online. We are unable to deliver your passport and visa if you fail to register a delivery address. To register online, click on the “Select Document Delivery Address” link under the Immigrant Visas section of our website (http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/). Once there, click on the first link under the “More Actions” to register a delivery address for the first time, or to change an existing delivery address.

If you have any question(s) on how to register a delivery address, please contact Manila’s Visa Information and Appointment Service Center at (632) 976-8500, (632) 976-8501 or (632) 976-8502.

You should read and follow all application and interview preparation instructions for immigrant visa applicants located on the Embassy’s web site at http://manila.usembassy.gov/iv_documents.html. The instructions contained in the website will provide you the required documentation and procedures to follow prior to the interview date.

All immigrant visa applicants are required to complete the Form DS-260 (Online Immigrant Visa Application and Registration) at https://ceac.state.gov/ceac and print the confirmation page to be presented at the time of interview. Any applicant without the completed application form will be advised to reschedule the interview. If you are unable to keep your visa interview appointment date, please visit the same website or call the Visa Information and Appointment Service to reschedule your interview appointment.

Applicants are advised to visit https://www.uscis.gov/tools/green-card-resources/welcome-united-states for practical information to help you settle into everyday life in the United States.

Sincerely,

Consular Officer

Immigrant Visa Branch

Questions:

1. Do we set up interview dates first and foremost?

2. I can't log in to the DS 260 online form. It says that

The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records. Please try again or contact the National Visa Center for further assistance.

How do i proceed from this letter. No step by step instructions :)

I hope someone can help me.

Thank you!

Ana

Thank you so much for the reply. Yes, I was able to see that form, too. I tried logging in to the DS 260 form as instructed. However, it gives me an error message. So I was thinking if I actually am doing the right step or should I try setting up an appointment first so the system will recognize me.

If the DS 260 wont let me log in, this will cause delay, right? I cant proceed with medical? This is where it confuses me.

Ana

I did not file DCF but everything should be on the instruction letter.

You filed DCF right in MNL?

See this note?

Note: If your petition did not go through the National Visa Center (NVC) process (for example, you filed your petition overseas), your invoice ID number is the principal applicant’s date of birth (YYYYMMDD).

Yes, we filed DCF and Yes, I saw that note. The problem is when you go to the login page and input my case number, boxes with dropdown appears automatically and in a different format :( So first box asks for DD, second box asks for MM, third box asks for YYYY. I cannot reverse the order since the boxes appear automatically and you just need to fill it in with the dropdown numbers :( soo frustrating. Thank you for all the help though. I hope we find the solution to this :(

Have you tried contacting the NVC as it says?

Hi, 7Ken! I tried calling the US Embassy here at the Philippines and said they will elevate my case to the NVC. Until now, it still does not work. However, they have instructed us to proceed with the scheduling of the interview and the medical but warned us that we have to finish the the DS 260 prior to the interview. I have scheduled the interview mid May, so Im praying that they will be able to fix it before that time.

I received an email from USDoS (Dept of State) the next day after my approval from "IVMNL Appointments".

Hopefully it's just taking a little time for them to get your case?

I called in the States (US time 8-6) using their 800# and Skype to resolve my problem.

As for your appointment you can always reschedule if necessary but hopefully it wont be.

Also you can check your case status at:

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?

Wish you good luck!

Hi, Ken and everyone who has been following this thread! Just received an email from the embassy informing me that my case has been closed and that I can now access my DS 260, true enough, I was able to access it! Yay! :)
