But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

He's not here yet, but we're to move back to Morocco a few years after he gets here and finishes school. We already own a home there that I've had for years, and I'm training for a career change that will provide extra income there.

We plan to move there after some time. We already have a piece of land to build our house on, and the costs there are much lower than here. Our savings, social security and that good ole 401K plan will go a longgggg way over there. Can you say "early retirement" :P

Insha'allah more reasonable attitudes will eventually prevail, and the political situation will be resolved in a fair and just manner, within the parameters of international law.

Filed: K-3 Visa Country: England
Timeline

I did live in my husband's country for several years; I went over on a fiance visa. UK culture isn't terribly different from US, so the transition wasn't too difficult. For financial reasons and because of family issues on my side and some other complications, we've decided it would be best to live in the States.

I feel so lucky to live in an age with intercontinental flights, cheap long distance, and the internet. They let me stay in touch with people back in the States in a way that would have been impossible a couple decades ago.

Gary and I plan on visiting the UK as much as possible once he's moved here. He's leaving his mum, several brothers, and many friends behind, so I know he's giving up a lot. But in the long run we both think it will be worth it.

I'm going to make money here and retire in Thailand. Best of both worlds.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

I've been living in my husband's country and will continue in the future if need be. But right now I need to be around family because some of them are not well. Also, money is pretty bad in Belize so we will probably try and live in the US for awhile and save as much as we can. I'm really torn between the two places. I don't want to live in the US or Belize full-time...so confusing at times

If he could only come over here and then we could travel together, life would be much happier

Morocco just doesn't have the kind of economic opportunities the US has. I have an established career & a home here, so giving that up to live over there just doesn't make sense. And while Morocco is reforming, it's still a monarchy, it still has Islamist problems, and have you ever seen the way they drive there?

Maybe after our kid(s) are grown we'll be wealthy and can be "bi-countried".

Joel and I want to move to Nova Scotia. I have no family here at all. I know he misses his family too. If it weren't for my ex we would be in NS now with my daughter. *sigh*
