Hi everyone

Im new on this site. Its been a very helpful resource of information for the paperwork Im filling.

Before I send everything, I want to make sure I have all the requiring documents, and would very much appreciate any corrections and suggestions.

I came to US in January 2012, and was an au pair for 2 years, until Jan 2014.

During that time, I traveled home once in December 2012, so I got my I-94 when i came back.

After the au pair program, I continued as a full time student at a local college (changing my status while still in the US), from Feb 2014 to August 2015 (finished early, credits from home-country were approved).

During that time, I was also working at the college as a mentor for students with special needs.

I met my husband in Sept 2013, and got married end of Sept 2015, soon after I graduated.

My student status expired August 30th 2015, but we applied for marriage August 06 (all the dates have been taken, so we had to go with end of Sept).

Anyway, after that, as I was looking for a doctor for immunization record, I got pregnant, so I couldn't receive the MMR vaccine, but I submitted a proof of pregnancy to the doct, and she included it in the vaccination records. That was end of November 2015.

Some family matter came up, so we ended up stalling, while I slowly gathered the paperwork needed for the green card.

I think I have everything now. We are sending I-130 and I-485 together.

This is my checklist so far.

Form I-130 (check to USDHS $420)

1. Form G-1145

2. Form I-130

3. Copy of petitioners (US citizen) documents:

c. Copy of driving license

4. Copy of beneficiarys (beneficiary) documents:

a. Copy of birth certificate (in English and in Croatian language)

b. Copy of US driving license

a. Original copy of marriage license

b. Copy of apartment lease contract

c. Copy of car insurance

d. Copy of health insurance plan

e. Copy of cellphone contract

f. Copy of joint tax return form 1040A for 2015

8. Passport photo of petitioner and beneficiary (labeled with full name)

1. Do I need to add DS2019 form I got when I was an aupair and I-20 form to show that I was a student?

2. The only proof of college employment is currently W2 forms from 2014 and 2015. Is that enough? I am still waiting for college to respond.

I-485 checklist (check to USDHS for $1070)

1. Form G-1145

2. Form I-485

3. Copy of birth certificate (in English and in Croatian language)

4. Copy of US driving license

16. Form I-864 Affidavit of Support

a. Copy of 1040A and 8863 form for 2015.

b. Copy of 2015 W2 forms

What else does my husband need to file as a proof of employment (letter of employment, pay stubs)? Do I need to file any forms?

Do I need to submit a proof of pregnancy? I have ultrasound pictures with my name on it, and date.

17. Form I-765

a. a. Two passport style pictures

b. Copy of US driving license

c. Copy of passport

d. Copy of visa stamp

e. Copy of I-94

f. Copy of I-797A approval of F1 status with a new I-94

18. Form I-131 Application for travel document

b. Copy of US driving license

c. Copy of passport

d. Copy of visa stamp

e. Copy of I-94

f. Copy of I-797A approval of F1 status with a new I-94

I feel like I have so many of my documents, attached to every form, and I'm still not sure where do they need I-20, where I-94, DS2019...

Why do forms I-765 and I-131 need extra stuff, and not just a passport pic?

Anyway, thanks everyone in advance. :luv: I hope it will help someone in the future.

I know this topic has been posted before, but I wanted to make a new one, since the only recent one is from 2012 (as I've checked).
