I-797C NOA (Biometrics letter) What documents are required?

Hey guys,

I don't have my Bio appointment scheduled at the moment, but I believe it should be scheduled in about 3 weeks.

My concern is that I might have neither a green card, nor i-791 NOA on hands, since I am applying for a Schengen visa, and they are requesting both original and copies of these documents.

Will I be able to go through the Biometrics appointment without green card? On the website, I was able to find the following info:

"Your notice will provide specific instructions on what you should bring with you to your ASC appointment. You must also bring:

Your ASC appointment notice (Form I-797C), and

Valid photo identification (such as your Green Card, passport, or drivers license)"

Someone in other thread mentioned they had to show the green card. Did anyone go through Bio with just a State ID or Driver's License?

I showed my driver's license and biometrics letter at my biometrics appointment and sailed right through. :)

I don't remember exactly. But I think it does say to walk with the letter and photo ID. I had a copy of the letter as well as the original. They took the copy and my driver's license and then returned both to me.
