expedite request response

I applied yesterday over the phone for expedite request. Today when I checked my uscis case status there was already written , that I got a response so I called USCIS and I was told that answer was sent through regular mail, even though I provided email adress as well I thought they will respond me to my email since is much easier for them, also for the first time expedite request I received email that I didnt provide any documents supporting my expedite( i was not asked to do it ) so thats why I called again. Why they used mail now instead of email? anybody has an idea?

What was the basis of your expedite.

I requested the same reason, then I received a letter to my email telling me that my request was forwarded for review and waited 45 days for them to respond. Did you get the result of your yet?
