Good job Obama. I don't fully understand the changes they made - I Understand corporations move money to the tax havens by having the foreign part of the company "loan" the American part of the company a small amount of money at crazy interest - that interest is removed from the profits of the American side and added to the profits of the foreign side.

In this case it is a 150 billion dollar company that wont be able to shield their money - at least with this method. I would like to see some sort of punishment to the 40 other pharmaceutical companies that have already done this - say through putting extra tariffs on the products they bring into the country that other companies are allowed to make. As one of the only countries left actually paying a premium on drugs and hence responsible for the bulk of private R&D for the planet we should have some leverage there.
