B visa or Green card

My family based immigration visa(F4 category) is becoming current soon.

I already have B1\B2 visa and have been traveling on that visa.

I do not wish to immigrate now as my business is running smoothly in my home country but instead wants to visit US on B visa.

My B visa is valid for another one year.

Will future B visa application create problem since I already expressed immigration intent?

How long I can hold on to my current immigration petition if desire to do so?

Thanks

You do not have to take advantage of the petition. Because of the huge waits there are people that decide not to move forward when they become current and you appear to be one of them. If you pass on the green card you already have a good history of travel and F4 don't have the same immigrant intent as others because they are not as apt to commit visa fraud by using the visitors visa to enter and adjust.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I see. Thank you for your reply.

I understood No from your reply. Correct?

How long immigrant petition remains valid if you do not utilize it. I mean let say I want to use it ten years from now.

It that possible? I have not found any of such case by making search online. Let me know if you know any person in similar situation.

Thanks

hi

nope, you don't come, you loose it, your parents will have to file a new petition for you if you decide you want to move to the US and it will take years of waiting

once the visa is given, you have 6 months from the medical to enter the country, you will have an expiration date on the visa that will be stamped in your passport
