A fairly uncomfortable topic... lets go there!

If I go to the Dominican republic in the non tourist parts - and speak a little Spanish - I can go to any random club and get hit on about the same as my wife will get hit on at an average club here. My wife will never go to the bathroom and return without some woman talking to me when she comes out. In Villavicencio, Colombia I had two women start a fist fight in a mall where I was trying on pants. There is a wedding photo with my mom, sister, me, and my wife - any person living in the US would notice my wife and the rest of us are just background - she dominates the photo - anytime I've seen it being looked at in Colombia all they talk about is me, my mom, and sister and the hair and eyes.

I'm not Fabio so I'm not some exception, I know they are not seeing me - they are seeing some imagined lifestyle.

So yeah, there are countries a western guy can go to and its like being a mini rock star - the farther from the big cities you go the more you see it. Its fading and will largely be a thing of the past in the not too distant future.

I have a very good friend (non-Asian) in the states with really bad yellow fever. It's his curse-lol... Every time we go to Asian restaurants he writes his phone number on the bill, hoping the waitress might give him a call.... It's amusing to watch. Funny thing is, he's very rich and successful in his professional field and could probably get any woman he wants but he only likes Asians .

He claimed that if he were seated between a beautiful young western model and a short dumpy middle aged Aian woman, he would go for the latter every time .

Ha ha! Nice one! I never name names but can categorically promise you it's not Darnell!

I swear, this guy will only take me out to restaurants in Chinatown , and he constantly ogles the waitresses. They treat him with bemused detachment . As I stated before, it's truly a curse.
