however, i have an issue with the ultimate truth found in the 'why you shouldn't date single moms" (i.e they put their children ahead of their dating life, omg) and the scads of dateable foreign women i saw photographed with their kids. which is it?

That's because men hold American women to a different standard than foreign women. If they see one here with kids, it's an automatic denial. But a foreign woman with 4 kids? No worries.
