At this risk of asking a stupid question...

Does everyone agree with my logic that this is asking for the WAC number? Not the NVC case number?

It does state the following, so I assume this is correct... I'm just second guessing myself.

Your application receipt/petition number was given to you by the Department of Homeland Security’s United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) after you filed your petition application at a USCIS Service Center. The application receipt/petition number is 13 characters long and the first three characters are letters.

Yes WAC but they don't reject people who do LND.

OMGosh thank god you asked this question Tricked because here I am at almost 2am trying to complete this DS-160 and I've run into roadblocks trying to figure out some of these questions hahaha!

I'm putting the USCIS receipt number also because that's what it indicates. Others have said it's the NVC Case Number on some other posts.

DS-160 ask for the WAC number yes :)

I went with WAC, and they don't seem to have had any issue... yet. So I'm sure it's right.
