Has anyone else had problems getting a photo accepted by the online form?

It keeps rejecting regardless of what I try, I've gone through 3 different sets of passport picture, 2 new ones from a phone camera, another cropped from a random picture.

None of them get accepted.

Am I missing a trick here?

Ok, lesson learned, the front camera on an iPhone and the DS-160 don't like each other... the back camera however...

I can see why on reflection, the ones I tried do look a bit blurry/out of focus when compared to the 'super mega' pixel camera...

That's weird! That was my plan when I fill out the DS-160 haha

You don't actually have to upload one for the ds160, you can skip it and bring an extra to the interview...it will just have a "no photo available" thing where the picture should be. It's no bigbig deal.

I had issues with mine because of where the eyes were centered even though I did it as per the machine standards - a photo editor did mine in the end. Am glad you got it sorted though :)

Yea, I think it may have been the guidelines, I couldn't zoom out far enough to line up the face, even though it was passport size...

Then the latter issue may have just been picture quality caused by the camera?

I'll take extra passport photo's just in case there's any issues.
